Context, on Tuesday i decided to download Guild wars 2 again and purchase path of fire and start a new character, luckily i can log into the game because my password is "saved" on the client, but i can't log into the website because i don't remember the password. I tried reset password about 10 times over the course of a few hours but just not I know it might sounded rude, but I've heard a lot of good things and few bad about this game, but never expected something like this. If you tied GW2 to a GW1 account, try using the email that the GW1 account was linked to. A friend had that problem, but it was because he was using his new (rather than his old GW1) email address. There have been enough instances in which a player plays the innocent angel at the forums after clear misconduct/hacking/gold selling/botting etc. but there also have been users who got banned for things they did not commit. I have been living in another country for the past 3 years and the old phone number is most likely disabled.I was able to download the game and play today but then due to a lost internet connection - it logged me out and asks for authentication.I can verify that I am the true owner of this account.So that's my friend's account, and I am writing .
