The bike did not change gears and soon refs were dangerously high in the valve bounce range. Got a fright and changed manually. This is the first time this happened. Haven't had a repeat. My current ride is an "obsolete" 2005 R1200GS, but ya know, it carries its weight low, and the paralever/telelever suspension design truly works.
